One very interesting thing about Will Poulter is that he is English but you can just barely tell from some of his movies. Once he speaks in his native accent it’s hard to believe he’s the same guy that’s showed up in some of these movies. In truth though Will is the kind of actor that might kind of take you by surprise since he blends in so easily to the background that unless he makes a point of stepping forward or has a character with more than a few lines one can forget he’s there. That doesn’t imply he’s a bad actor, it simply means that he can be overshadowed very easily since there are times when he plays a role that is kind of placed on the fringe of the action at times. But when he’s front and center he’s a great actor and is someone that can deliver in a big way since he’s versatile enough to play a lot of roles. Here are some of Will poulter movies

1. Kids in Love:
Not only is this film more recent than folks might think since it was released in 2016, but it carries a very big message with it as well. When Jack takes a gap year to decide just what he wants out of college and how he’s going to go about planning his life, he meets up with a group of people that show him a different side of life that takes place far away from the plans that he’s made. The upside of a gap year is that you do get to experience a bit more of the world before you get locked into an education. But the downside is that sometimes you figure out that the people who live in that world don’t share the same mindset when it comes to moving forward in life.

2. The Revenant:
While the real account of this story is quite a bit different it’s still fairly accurate as much of it is said to have happened. Of course the bear scene is the biggest part of the movie since surviving a bear attack these days isn’t always likely, but surviving the mauling that Glass took in the movie seems to prove that some men are just too hard to kill. Will had a fairly prominent part in this movie as Jim Bridger but as was expected to happen he kind of got shoved to the side for the feud that was built between Glass and Fitzgerald. It’s enough to know that he was there and did his part for the movie at least.

3. The Maze Runner:
Being dumped in the middle of a maze that’s patrolled by a creature that was designed to hunt and kill whoever stepped into its territory is horrifying enough to think about, but coming to understand that someone did this on purpose is even worse. It would seem in the beginning that when things got going the small group that was kept in their place by whoever provided them with goods was doing just fine. When a newcomer came along and started shaking things up though everything tended to get a bit screwy and eventually it was decided that their place in the world they knew was no longer enough.

4. Detroit:
During one of the notable riots in Detroit a great number of atrocities were allowed to happen, but in the Algiers motel some of the worst actions were carried out by one men and those that followed him. While it’s kind irritating to think that Krauss got away with a great deal of what he did it’s also a testament to the state of this country at certain points in time as to how things were done and how little justice was actually served now and again. While the story does differ from the reality like most movies do, a lot of it was kept just disturbing enough for viewers to think that the 12th Street Riots displayed a rather dark time in America.

5. We’re the Millers:
Kenny is that kid that wants to be a part of something, anything, so long as it means that he belongs. He’s so desperate for attention that he befriends a local neighborhood drug dealer, and when David asks him to be his fake son for a smuggling operation he doesn’t even question it. Of course along the way it’s proven that Kenny is about as inept as anyone could possibly be when it comes to life, but he provides a great deal of comic relief, which usually comes at the character’s expense since he does have to play something of a total nitwit. But hey, memorizing Left Eye’s lines from Waterfalls is still pretty impressive.

Will Poulter is good at what he does without question, but he does fade off into the background sometimes.
